Free French Storytime

A fun, welcoming storytime in French for kids in K-3
Bring your child to enjoy French stories at the library. This Storytime is designed with young learners in French Immersion or French as a First Language programs in mind. Each session helps children grow their vocabulary, listening skills, and love of reading in French.
What to Expect
Engaging read-alouds with beautiful picture books
Strategic use of translanguaging between French and English, along with actions, to support memory and language learning
Opportunities for children to hear and use French naturally
A warm, playful environment where all children can participate at their own level
Why It Matters
Regular read-alouds build strong readers and confident learners. Hearing French in a fun, interactive setting helps children strengthen their school learning, connect with peers, and develop pride in their language skills.
Who Can Join
Anyone! But I have planned each read aloud with kids from K-3 in mind that are learning French at school, in order to complement their learning at school
